Combination: Cefuroxime (antibiotic) + Clavulanic Acid (beta-lactamase inhibitor).

Uses

Treats bacterial infections (e.g., ear, sinus, throat, lung, urinary tract, skin/soft tissue).

How It Works

• Cefuroxime: Stops bacterial cell wall formation.

• Clavulanic Acid: Prevents bacterial enzymes from breaking down Cefuroxime, enhancing its effect.

Dosage

• Take as prescribed, with/without food, at fixed times.

• Do not skip doses or stop early.

Side Effects

• Common: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, allergic reactions.

• Serious: Liver enzyme elevation (monitor with tests if needed).
