Milixim 50mg Tablet DT

An antibiotic for bacterial infections in children.

Uses

Treats bacterial infections of:

• Ear, eyes, nose, throat, lungs

• Skin, stomach, urinary tract

• Uncomplicated typhoid fever

Dosage

• Give 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after (if stomach upset, give with food).

• If vomiting occurs within 30 minutes, repeat the dose.

• Never double the next dose.

Side Effects (usually mild & temporary)

• Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain

• Diarrhea, indigestion, allergies

Precautions

• ❌ Do NOT use for cold/flu (viral infections).

• ✔️ Inform the doctor if your child has:

  • Kidney/liver disease, allergies, or other medical conditions.

How It Works

• Stops bacteria from building cell walls, killing them without resistance.

If You Miss a Dose

• Give it as soon as remembered, unless close to the next dose.

Safety

• Kidney disease: Use with caution (dose adjustment may be needed).

• Liver disease: Safe, but consult a doctor for severe cases.
