Keppra 1000mg Tablet

Use: Treats epilepsy/seizures (partial-onset, myoclonic, tonic-clonic).
Works By: Suppressing abnormal brain electrical activity via SV2A protein binding.

Key Points:

• Dosage: Take as prescribed, with/without food, at the same time daily.

• Do Not: Stop abruptly (risk of worsening seizures).

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Generally safe; consult doctor.

Common Side Effects:

• Sleepiness, dizziness, headache, irritability, aggression, reduced appetite.

• Monitor mood changes (risk of suicidal thoughts).

Safety:

• ❌ Avoid alcohol (increases drowsiness/seizure risk).

• ❌ Avoid driving if drowsy/dizzy.

• ⚠️ Kidney patients: Dose adjustment may be needed.

If Missed Dose:
