Description
Milixim 50mg Tablet DT
An antibiotic for bacterial infections in children.
Uses
Treats bacterial infections of:
Ear, eyes, nose, throat, lungs
Skin, stomach, urinary tract
Uncomplicated typhoid fever
Dosage
Give 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after (if stomach upset, give with food).
If vomiting occurs within 30 minutes, repeat the dose.
Never double the next dose.
Side Effects (usually mild & temporary)
Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain
Diarrhea, indigestion, allergies
Precautions
❌ Do NOT use for cold/flu (viral infections).
✔️ Inform the doctor if your child has:
Kidney/liver disease, allergies, or other medical conditions.
How It Works
Stops bacteria from building cell walls, killing them without resistance.
If You Miss a Dose
Give it as soon as remembered, unless close to the next dose.
Safety
Kidney disease: Use with caution (dose adjustment may be needed).
Liver disease: Safe, but consult a doctor for severe cases.
Always follow your doctor’s instructions. Report persistent side effects.
