Amlopres-AT Tablet

Combination: Amlodipine + Atenolol
Used for:

• Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

• Angina (Chest Pain)

Key Benefits:

• Lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing heart rate.

• Reduces risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney problems.

• Prevents angina attacks by improving blood flow to the heart.

Dosage & Administration:

• Take once daily, with or without food (as prescribed).

• Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.

• Do not stop abruptly even if you feel well.

Common Side Effects:

• Headache, dizziness, nausea, fatigue.

• Swelling (edema), slow heart rate, cold hands/feet.

• Flushing, palpitations, constipation.

Safety Warnings:

• Avoid alcohol (increases dizziness).

• Unsafe in pregnancy/breastfeeding (consult doctor).

• Do not drive if dizzy or fatigued.

• Limit high-potassium foods (risk of hyperkalemia).

Missed Dose:

• Take as soon as remembered. Skip if close to next dose.
