Amlopres Trio Tablet

Combination: Telmisartan (ARB) + Amlodipine (CCB) + Hydrochlorothiazide (Diuretic)
Use: Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) when single-drug therapy is ineffective.

Key Benefits:

• Lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and removing excess fluid.

• Reduces long-term risks of stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage.

Dosage & Administration:

• Take once daily, with or without food, at a fixed time.

• Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.

• Avoid taking within 4 hours of bedtime (to prevent frequent urination at night).

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness, headache, fatigue, nausea.

• Peripheral edema (swelling), diarrhea, flu-like symptoms.

• Manage side effects: Stay hydrated; report persistent symptoms to your doctor.

Safety Warnings:

• Avoid alcohol (increases dizziness/BP-lowering effects).

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Unsafe – May harm the baby.

• Driving: Use caution – May cause dizziness/tiredness.

• Kidney/Liver Disease: Use under medical supervision; dose adjustments may be needed.

Missed Dose:

• Take as soon as remembered. Skip if close to the next dose. Do not double dose.

Monitoring:

• Regular checks for BP, kidney function, electrolytes, and blood sugar recommended.

Note: Do not stop without consulting your doctor, even if you feel well. Hypertension often has no symptoms.
