Uses
Treats bacterial infections, including:
Respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, lung, skin, and eye infections.
Typhoid fever.
Sexually transmitted infections (e.g., gonorrhea).
Dosage & Administration
How to take: Orally, as a whole tablet (do not crush/chew).
Timing: Preferably 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
Duration: Complete the full course as prescribed, even if symptoms improve.
Side Effects
Common (usually temporary):
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache.
Precautions & Warnings
Contraindications: Do not use if you have a history of cholestatic jaundice/liver issues caused by azithromycin.
