Cardace Meto 5 Tablet ER

Combination: Metoprolol (beta-blocker) + Ramipril (ACE inhibitor)
Use: Treats hypertension (high blood pressure), reduces risk of heart attack/stroke, and improves heart attack survival.

Key Points:

• Dosage: Take with food at a fixed time daily. Do not crush/chew.

• Do NOT stop abruptly (risk of worsening condition).

• Lifestyle: Pair with exercise, weight management, and a low-salt diet.

Side Effects:

• Common: Dizziness, cough, weakness, nausea, headache, low BP, high potassium.

• Serious: Slow heart rate, swelling (angioedema), kidney/liver issues (monitor regularly).
