Clopitab 150 Tablet
Category: Antiplatelet (Blood Thinner)
Purpose: Prevents harmful blood clots to reduce risk of heart attack, stroke, and related conditions.
Key Uses:
Prevents heart attack/stroke in high-risk patients.
Treats peripheral vascular disease (narrowed blood vessels).
Manages unstable angina (heart-related chest pain).
Post-heart procedures (e.g., stenting).
Dosage & Administration:
Take once daily, with or without food, at a fixed time.
Do not chew/crush; swallow whole.
Continue even if asymptomatic—stopping may increase risks.
Side Effects (Common):
Bleeding (nosebleeds, bruising, black stools, heavy periods).
Abdominal pain, diarrhea, indigestion.
Usually mild; consult if persistent/severe.
Contraindications:
Active bleeding (e.g., ulcers, brain hemorrhage).
Severe liver/kidney disease (use under supervision).
Pregnancy (unsafe; consult doctor).
Safety Advice:
Alcohol: Caution advised (may increase bleeding risk).
Driving: Safe (no significant impairment).
Surgery/Dental Work: Inform doctor—may need temporary discontinuation.
Missed Dose:
