Description

Doxovent Tablet

Uses:

• Treatment and prevention of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

• Relaxes airway muscles, improves breathing.

Dosage:

• Take once daily in the evening, with or without food.

• Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.

• Missed dose? Take ASAP, but skip if close to next dose.

Key Side Effects:

• Headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach upset.

Precautions:

• Avoid: Alcohol, smoking, high-caffeine foods (coffee, tea, chocolate).

• Consult doctor if: Pregnant, breastfeeding, or have heart/kidney/liver disease.

• Driving: May cause dizziness/drowsiness; avoid if affected.

Emergency Note:

• Does not treat sudden asthma/COPD attacks. Always keep a rescue inhaler.

Mechanism:

• Bronchodilator: Widens airways by relaxing muscles.
