Gabastar NT 400mg/10mg Tablet
Combination: Gabapentin (400mg) + Nortriptyline (10mg)
Use: Treatment of chronic neuropathic pain (nerve damage due to diabetes, shingles, spinal injury).

How it works:
Gabapentin modulates calcium channels to reduce nerve pain signals.
Nortriptyline increases serotonin/noradrenaline to block pain perception in the brain.
Dosage:
Take once daily at night, with/without food.
Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.
Do not stop suddenly (risk of worsened symptoms).
Side Effects:
Common: Dizziness, sleepiness, dry mouth, constipation, weight gain, blurred vision.
Serious (report to doctor): Mood changes (suicidal thoughts), irregular heartbeat, severe dizziness, liver problems (jaundice).
Precautions:
Avoid alcohol (increases drowsiness).
Not safe for pregnant/breastfeeding women unless prescribed.
Caution in kidney/liver disease (dose adjustment may be needed).
Do not drive or operate machinery (may impair alertness).
Missed Dose:
