Levacetam 500 Tablet
Use: Treatment of epilepsy (partial-onset, myoclonic, or tonic-clonic seizures).

Dosage & Administration:
How to take: Swallow whole, with/without food, at the same time daily.

Side Effects (Common → Serious):
Common: Drowsiness, headache, dizziness, irritability, decreased appetite, nasal congestion.
Serious: Mood changes (aggression, depression), suicidal thoughts, severe lethargy.
→ Report worsening mood/behavior to doctor immediately.
Safety Advice:
Alcohol: Unsafe (increases drowsiness/risk of seizures).
Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Safe if prescribed; monitor infant for sleepiness/weight gain.
Driving: Unsafe (may cause dizziness/blurred vision).
Kidney/Liver Disease:
Kidney: Dose adjustment may be needed.
Liver: Usually safe; severe cases may require lower dose.
Precautions:
Inform doctor about kidney issues, mental health history (e.g., depression), or pregnancy/breastfeeding.
