Libotryp DS 25 mg/10 mg Tablet
Combination: Amitriptyline (25 mg) + Chlordiazepoxide (10 mg)
Use: Treatment of depression with anxiety. Helps regulate mood and reduce anxiety.
Key Points:
Dosage: Take as prescribed, with/without food, at a fixed time.
Do not stop suddenly (risk of worsening symptoms).
Side Effects:
Common: Constipation, dry mouth, blurred vision, drowsiness, weight gain, orthostatic hypotension.
Serious (rare): Mood changes, suicidal thoughts, liver issues (monitor regularly).
Precautions:
Avoid alcohol (unsafe interaction).
Driving/Caution: May cause drowsiness or dizziness.
Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Unsafe (consult doctor).
Liver/Kidney Disease: Use with caution (dose adjustment may be needed).
