Description

Mega-CV Drops (Amoxycillin + Clavulanic Acid)

Use: Treats bacterial infections (ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, urinary tract).

Key Instructions:

• Dosage: Follow doctor’s prescription (based on infection type, severity, weight, and age).

• How to Give:

  • Shake well before use. Measure with a dosing cup/spoon.

  • Best given with food to improve absorption and reduce stomach upset.

  • If vomited within 30 minutes, repeat the dose.

  • Never double the dose if a dose is missed. Give the missed dose when remembered (unless close to the next dose).

Common Side Effects:

• Vomiting, nausea, diarrhea (usually mild and temporary).

• Consult the doctor if side effects persist or worsen.

Precautions:

• Inform the doctor if your child has:

  • Kidney/liver disease, allergies, or any chronic illness (e.g., heart, lung, blood disorders).

• Liver/Kidney Patients: Dose adjustments may be needed.

How It Works:

• Amoxycillin: Kills bacteria by weakening their cell walls.

• Clavulanic Acid: Blocks bacterial enzymes that resist antibiotics.

Important:

• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve to prevent antibiotic resistance.
