Composition & Use

Metpure-AM 5 Tablet MR is a combination medication used to treat:

• Hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Angina (heart-related chest pain)

• Abnormal heart rhythms

• Chronic heart failure

Key Benefits

• For Hypertension: Relaxes blood vessels, reduces heart rate, and improves blood circulation, lowering the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

• For Angina: Improves blood flow to the heart, reducing chest pain and increasing exercise tolerance.

Dosage & Administration

• Take once daily, with or without food, but at the same time each day.

• Do not stop suddenly—even if feeling well—as hypertension often has no symptoms.

• Swallow whole; do not crush, chew, or break.

Side Effects

Common side effects include:

• Dizziness, headache, fatigue

• Slow heart rate, ankle swelling

• Nausea, constipation, depression

• Skin rash, breathlessness, muscle cramps

Precautions & Warnings

• Avoid alcohol (increases dizziness).

• Do not drive if experiencing dizziness or drowsiness.

• Monitor potassium levels—avoid potassium-rich foods/supplements unless advised.

• Regular BP, kidney, and electrolyte checks may be required.

Missed Dose
