Uses

Treats bacterial infections, including:

• Throat, ear, sinus, respiratory (e.g., pneumonia), urinary tract, skin/soft tissue infections.

• Typhoid fever.

• H. pylori eradication in peptic ulcers.

Dosage & Administration

• How to take: With or without food (but better with meals to avoid stomach upset).

• Duration: Complete the full course as prescribed, even if symptoms improve.

• Missed dose: Take ASAP; if close to next dose, skip. Do not double dose.

Side Effects (Usually mild and temporary)

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash.
