Novamox 250 DT Tablet
Generic Name: Amoxicillin (Penicillin-class antibiotic)
Uses:
Treats bacterial infections, including:
Throat, ear, sinus, respiratory (e.g., pneumonia), urinary tract, skin/soft tissue infections.
Typhoid fever.
H. pylori eradication in peptic ulcers.
Dosage & Administration:
How to take: Dissolve in water or take whole. Can be taken with/without food (fixed timing advised).
Duration: Complete full course as prescribed, even if symptoms improve.
Side Effects (Common):
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash.
Usually mild and temporary.
Safety Advice:
Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Generally safe (under medical supervision).
Alcohol: No interaction.
Driving: May cause dizziness/allergic reactions → avoid driving if affected.
