How to Use:
Give this tablet to your child exactly as prescribed by the doctor. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
For asthma, give it in the evening or 2 hours before exercise.
For allergies, giving it in the evening is usually best.
If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the tablet, you may repeat the dose once (unless it’s almost time for the next one).
Benefits:
Prevents asthma attacks in children
Eases breathing during physical activity
Treats allergy symptoms such as sneezing, blocked nose, or itchy, watery eyes
Works best with regular use and rarely causes serious side effects
Common Side Effects:
Telekast 4 is usually well-tolerated. Minor and temporary side effects may include:
Headache
Abdominal pain
Diarrhea
Fever
Mild respiratory infections
Most side effects go away on their own. Contact your child’s doctor if they persist or cause concern.
Safety Advice:
Kidney & Liver: Generally safe. Inform your doctor of any severe kidney or liver problems.
Other Conditions: Always inform the doctor of your child’s full medical history, including any allergies or other health concerns.
Missed a Dose?
Give the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip it if it’s almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose.
How It Works:
Telekast 4 blocks a chemical in the body called leukotriene, which causes swelling and allergy symptoms. By blocking it, the medicine helps open airways and reduce allergic reactions.
